Towards the end of their term, the STEI-K Class of 2022 organizing committee held an internal faculty-level competition. This served as the final event for the Class of 2022 before transitioning into the student association phase.
The competitions included IT-focused events like Capture The Flag and Competitive Programming; sports such as futsal and badminton; and gaming competitions featuring titles like Valorant, Mobile Legends, and chess.
The event also served as an opportunity to engage with new students from the Class of 2023. While the organizing committee was led by Class of 2022 students, the team also included members from the Class of 2023. This created a platform for new students to get to know one another as well as students from senior cohorts.
The streaming division was responsible for broadcasting the online competitions, allowing people who were not physically present or participating to watch the action. I led this 10-person division, overseeing the broadcasts for Mobile Legends, Valorant, and chess. We also manage and communicate with referee, gaming committee, and commentators. We successfully reached a total audience of 3,000 viewers across all competition categories, covering everything from the preliminary rounds to the finals.
