Arkavidia is a nation-scale computer science competition held by HMIF ITB participated by 1,293 teams and 4,449 participants for various competitions and events. Arkavidia is held annually by the ITB Informatics Student Association. Arkavidia is a collection of events, competitions, seminars, and other activities related to computer science and informatics.
Arkavidia is organized and managed by an organizational body under the Student Association of ITB (HMIF ITB), and recruits association members as its committee members. I work in the IT department, specifically in front-end software engineering. I joined the Arkavidia 9.0 team in 2024.
To manage registration, competitions, information, events, and announcements, Arkavidia created a centralized website and information system at arkavidia.com. The software engineering team worked specifically on building this system. The team was divided into two sections: backend and frontend.
The frontend team itself consisted of 11 members, and we collaborated with the backend and UI/UX divisions to ensure all system components functioned properly and met expectations.
Some of the features, components, and pages I worked on while working in the frontend division were the admin panel for verifying registered team data, small components such as modals, buttons, and toasts, the competition landing page, the dashboard page for participant data uploads, and the 404 not found page for handling unwanted route access.
